• There are spirit wear order forms now available in the office.  They are due back to Ms. Butler’s room by November 8th.

• Congrats to the JL girls varsity volleyball team on winning their last regular season game.  The girls beat CPA 3 sets straight.  Players of the game were Cassey Prime and Rylea Hodge. Congrats and good luck next week during playoffs.

• First round of photo orders are here in the main office for pick up.

• Just a reminder that the film project "Community Driven" with film maker Raf Mac Donald is on today right after school.  We will meet in the school cafeteria and then move to the Black Box Arts Space behind the school. If you have a signed permission slip from home, please bring it with you. Yeah, let's learn how to MAKE a movie instead of just watching one!

• If you would like to represent JL Ilsley at the upcoming Armbrae Dialogue at King's College on November 8th and 9th, please speak to Ms. Curran in room 201 as soon as possible.  This is an opportunity to participate in small group discussions with students from communities all across the Halifax Regional Municipality, from both public and private schools.  Admission is free, and Ilsley has been allotted an extra 4 spots due to our excellent participation in this event in the past. If you are interested in student leadership, public speaking or public service, this may be the conference for you.
