• If you are looking for something good to read, check out some of our new books in your own J.L.  library.  Whether you like Vikings, webcomics, love stories, or monsters, we have something for everyone:
1. New York Times bestselling novel Ramona Blue by Julie Murphy tells the story of 6 foot tall, blue haired Ramona.  Ramona’s knows 3 things for sure, she likes girls, loves her family and is destined for something big in life.  But life gets complicated when her childhood friend Freddie returns to her home town and Ramona begins questioning her sexually and just about everything else!  A beautiful and sometimes hilarious love story definitely worth a read.
2. From the author of Room, comes Emma Donoghue’s new novel The Wonder.  This one has already been shortlisted for the Giller Prize.  Set in 1850’s Ireland, the mystery of a girl who does not eat, is told through the eyes of the nurse who attends her.  A psychological thriller that keeps you turning pages for sure.
3. Eliza and her Monsters is a story of Eliza Mirk.  In real life Eliza is shy, weird and friendless.  But online, she’s Lady Constellation, the creator of an insanely popular web-comic called Monstrous Sea.  When reality and her online life somehow collide, the real adventure begins.
See you at the library!
