• Anyone interested in trying out for girls’ volleyball, tryouts will take place
Today Monday at 3;30, Wednesday, September 16 at 3:30 and Thursday
September 17th at 3:30. If you have any questions see Skinner in Room 305.

• All boys interested in playing on this year’s boys’ volleyball team must attend
a mandatory meeting in Mr. Algee's room 325 on Tuesday at lunch (11:45). It
is very important that all individuals interested in playing attend this info
session. At this time there are only a small handful of sports programs
cleared for competition with other schools, so students should take
advantage of the opportunities that are currently available to them.
Information on the status of other NSSAF school sports is being updated on
a weekly basis.

• Any students interested in running cross country, there will be a brief
meeting at lunch today in the gym.

• Could the following students pick up their Yearbooks from Ms. Curran in
Room 201:

Brody Nurse
Reigan Purcell
Jordon Roloson and
Jordan Russell

• Students' Council applications for students in grade 10, 11, and 12 are
available from Mr. Down in room 230. If you are interested in student
leadership, working in teams, planning events and optimistic that this year
will be full of opportunity for great things to happen at JL Ilsley please
meet Mr. Down and sign up. Our Executive team is excited to create JL
culture and reconnect students with our school. All completed applications
must be returned to Mr. Down by September 17th.
