• Got a toothache? Headache? Cramps? Need an Aspirin? Thank the Mi’kmaq for this wonderful miracle drug. The active ingredient, salicylic acid, used in Aspirin was known and used by the Mi’kmaq for thousands of years and introduced to the early colonists. The Mi’kmaq found salicylic acid in the 15-20 different species of Willow tree, including the pussy willow.


• Anyone interested in playing girls JV volleyball should come tryout for the team today from 3:30 to 5:30.


• Today until Friday, October 16, Mount Allison will be hosting its first ever Online Open House for prospective students and their families.

• This is a reminder for the GIRLS HOCKEY TEAM. Girls Hockey Tryouts are starting today.


• Picture retakes will take place on Thursday, October 8th, not Friday, October 9th
