• The Mi’kmaq have a phrase “Msit No’kmaq” (mee see no gimaw). It loosely means “All my relations”. What it really means is that we are all related. We,
people of all races and colours; all the animals; all the plants; all the rocks and oceans; the air we breathe; and all things known of creation, are related
and connected. We are all related and need to respect and work together or we will not survive.

• There will be an optional get together for all those interested in trying out for the girls’ basketball team on Sunday morning at 9:30 at Central Spryfield outdoor court. This is an optional shoot around, and an opportunity to meet the new girls’ basketball coaches. The Girls’ first official tryout will be Friday October 23rd at 4pm in the J.L. Ilsley gym. All those interested in playing on this year's Girls’ basketball team must attend.

• Ms. Issie and Mr. Ford will be running Dungeons and Dragons at lunch hour today in room 201.
