- Despite the rainy weather on Saturday, the girls basketball team travelled to Avon View High School for a tournament. The team played Avon View and Middleton Regional High losing both in close games. Players of the games were Maddie Webb and Victoria Gallant with Maddie Webb getting a tournament All-Star award. The girls head to Sackville high today for a game at 4:30pm. Good luck team.
- Attention, grade 12s! The JL Scholarship & Bursary Application form is now available in guidance. Completed applications are due back to guidance by February 2!
- The Mi'kmaq Native Friendship Centre's Mental Health and Wellness Program will host a Pow Wow on Saturday, January 28, at the Centre at 2021 Brunswick Street. Admission is free; there will be food, music, dancing, and vendors, and everyone is welcome to attend. For more information, see Ms Tish in room 331.

- Were you hoping to get a 2023 Yearbook? The deadline to purchase a yearbook is March 1st, 2023. If you want a Yearbook, you must buy it before this date. You can purchase a Yearbook online at the Yearbook store. A link to this is on the JL Ilsley website. You can also purchase a Yearbook at the office with Ms. Amy. Again the deadline is March 1, 2023.
