- Lights! Camera! Action! The Ilsley Film Club is a free weekly afterschool club led by working professionals from the Nova Scotia Film Industry. We are looking for some ACTORS for a short film that we will be shooting afterschool on Tuesdays! You can check out the Google Classroom or just show up at the meeting next week. We are welcoming students who are interested in assisting behind the scenes as well as actors. Tuesdays! Afterschool untill 5:30! Room 112! Dont miss out on this free opportunity to get some hands on experience with this years cast and crew!
- Ramadan Mubarak! Do you want to celebrate Iftar together? Iftar is the breaking of the fast which happens around 8:00pm each night during this sacred month. Come join us for Iftar on Wednesday night, that's April 19th from 7:30-8:30pm for food and drinks! Prayer spaces will be available. Sign up inside the EAL room, that’s Mrs. Brenda’s room, room 215 OR outside of the gym on the main bulletin board! Come to break your fast with your family and friends or just come to learn and mingle in solidarity! Sign-up before Monday afterschool! - April is Ribbon Skirt Month. Ribbon Skirts are traditional skirts worn my Indigenous people. During the month of April, we are inviting our indigenous Staff and Students to wear a ribbon skirt or shirt every Wednesday for the month of April. Please support our students and wear a ribbon on your shirt.
