- Congrats to the JL rugby team who won a close contest against Sackville High with a score of 22-21. Try scorers for the game were Noelle Duggan and Gracie Gough with a single try each and Gabbi Hallal with 2. Noelle Duggan added a conversion onto the tally. The team is back in action on Monday when they take on Ecole Mosaique.
- Youth Health Centre open all day- Rozzi from Schools Plus here to help.
- The Yearbook committee will be meeting today this week as we finish the Yearbook.
- There will be a brief meeting in Ms. White's room, room 216, today at lunch for all those interested in participating in props design, costumes, hair, and makeup for the school musical.
- Beginning on May 10th, there will be a lunch time program offered to Grade 10 and 11 female-identifying students. This program will be focused on empowerment and building confidence in sport. It will be hosted by Olympian Karen Furneaux and participants will receive a new sports bra at the end of the three sessions. Food will also be provided. - Want to win some prizes! Prom committee is hosting a merch bingo today in the cafeteria. Bingo sheets can be bought at the door, $10 for a full game and $5 for a special or regular game. All Proceeds go towards prom. Come out to support your grade 12s!
- April is Ribbon Skirt Month. Ribbon Skirts are traditional skirts worn my Indigenous people. During the month of April, we are inviting our indigenous Staff and Students to wear a ribbon skirt or shirt every Wednesday for the month of April. Please support our students and wear a ribbon on your shirt.
- Parking passes are now available for pick up from Miss. Amy in the office. They will be handed out in between classes and at lunch. If you have not filled out a parking permit application please pick one up in the main office so that you are able to get a parking pass. Enforcement and parking patrol will begin Monday.
