- This week is International week of Deaf people, celebrated September 18th - 24th. The theme this year is A World Where Deaf People Everywhere Can Sign Anywhere! You can visit the International Federation of the Deaf's website for more information!
- There will be a Prom Committee meeting on Thursday, September 21st at lunch in room 314.
- If you're interested in joining the GSA, come out to our meeting this Wednesday, September 20th at lunch in room 314!
- This announcement is only for the individuals who have previously met with Mr. Algee regarding participation in the regional golf tournament. These individuals are asked to meet at Goodwood Driving Range at 4 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 20. Only 4 individuals will move forward to participate in the Regional Golf Tournament on Monday, Sept. 25.
- Attention all those interested in trying out for the JL boys' hockey team. There will be a mandatory meeting at the beginning of lunch on Thursday September 21st in Mr. Algee's room 102. That's mandatory boys' hockey meeting, at lunch, Thursday Sept 21st, in room 102.
- Congratulations to the newest members of the Girl's JV Volleyball team. To see the team list, please see the sign outside of room 209. Practices this week are Wednesday and Friday after school. Please see ms. Gillard in room 209 if you have any questions or concerns

- There will be a bake sale on Friday September 22nd to support this years prom.

- Popcorn will be on sale in the cafeteria this friday at lunch to support activities in the learning center
- This week is JL’s first spirit week. Today is PJ / Cozy day, Thursday is student teacher swap, please be kind and Friday is JL Pride day, wear your ilsley or purple gear.
- There is a Judges Football game this Saturday September 23rd at Graves Oakley Field, beginning at 1pm. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for students and children under 10 are free.
- Hello JUDGES! The martial arts club will meet today (Tuesday Sept. 19) AT LUNCH in room 114. The martial arts studio will be available at lunch this semester on Day D of the schedule. This will be an opportunity for open training in grappling and kickboxing. All are welcome. New members of the club will have to get parents' written permission to participate. See Mr. Hennebury for questions.
