  • Kwe'. The Mi'kmaq word for the week is: "Weli eksitpu'k"(pronounced: wellee eck zick boog) and it means "Good morning"
  • Friday is Orange Shirt Day and Saturday is Truth and Reconciliation Day. These days are more than just an excuse to have a day off from school on Monday. We acknowledge these days as a means of raising awareness of the atrocities and genocide that occurred at Canada's residential schools. We acknowledge that no school should have survivors; schools should have students. We acknowledge that no school should have a burial ground; they should have a playground. And we acknowledge that we are all equal. We wear orange to honor all those who survived residential schools and in memory of those children who didn't. There are Orange shirts available for purchase at $15 each, please see Ms. Tish in room 331.
  • On Friday, there will be orange ribbons available for everyone as well.
  • Members of the Girl's JV Volleyball team are asked to bring their forms into Ms. Gillard as soon as possible. It is very important to have all emergency information on hand and the forms are necessary to start the season. You can drop forms off at the office to be put into Ms. Gillard's mailbox or directly to room 209.
  • Brain Food Fridays are back! Starting this Friday, Sept. 29th, students who wish to, can come to the Health Suite every Friday between 12 & 2 to Pack a bag of food for the weekend. Find us in room 319.
