- For grade 9 students - Wednesday, November 1st is "Take Our Kids to Work Day"! If you would like to participate, please see your Healthy Living Teacher for information and the forms needed.
- Jam club thursdays after school in the music room
- School photos are available for pick up in the main office as well as Student ID’s. Retake photos have yet to arrive.
- This week is our Halloween spirit week. Today is country vs. country club, tomorrow is Mean girls day - because on wednesday we wear pink and thursday is pajama day. There will be a game of Dress The Mummy near the stage today at lunch, bring a friend and win a prize.
- Tomorrow October 25th is our Halloween Dance from 7-10pm. Tickets will be sold for $7 at lunch and $10 at the door.
- Congratulations on the outstanding performance of the intermediate girls’ x-country team who competed yesterday at provincials in cheticamp. The team finished 5th out of 14 teams in the province. Congratulations team on a fabulous season.
- Your JL Football team upset their Millwood High School rivals 35-14 last night. Led by an offensive attack from quarterbacks Derek Marble and Mah’ki Hill. On the defensive side of the ball, strong play from Quinn Kendzoria, Tyler Hollery and Mateo henneberry lead the way. Stand outs for your judges on both sides of the ball were Xavier Desmond and Omar Khalaf, both scoring touchdowns on the offense and strong defensive performances. Next up for your 3 and 3 Judges is the Dartmouth Spartans at 6pm. Please come cheer on your classmates as they push for a playoff spot in their regular season game.
