- School Photos are available for pick up in the main office.
- November 29th will be our first JL Coffeehouse of the year. It will be from 6-9pm. Anyone wishing to sign up to perform can use the Google Form linked in the JL Ilsley Council Instagram Bio, or sign up on a physical sheet outside the main office or the band room. Show up to support your friends and enjoy a fun evening!
- The Health Action Team is collecting items for teenagers who are in the hospital over the holidays. Collection boxes are in the main office, Mr. Burbridge's room 326, and Mr. MacKay's room 103. See posters throughout the school for items we are collecting, all of which can be found at the dollar store. These simple things can go a long way when you're hospitalized, help bring some holiday cheer to these teens!
- Jam club is now on wed. after school in the music room. Bring your JAM
- Girl's on the JV Volleyball team are reminded to hand in their uniforms AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. You can return them to Ms. Gillard in room 218.
- There will be a GSA meeting today (Wednesday, Nov. 22nd) at lunch in room 314.
- AUDITION CALL - December 5, 7 and 14 - HRCE Students are welcome to audition for Macbeth presented by Halifax Regional Arts. Feel free to check out the posters in the office and on the bulletin board for more information.
- Prom Committee is hosting a merchandise bingo tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 22nd) in the cafeteria. Doors are at 5:30 and the first game will begin at 6. It is $5 for 10 regular games and $5 for 5 special games. We have lots of great prizes. Come out and support this year's prom!
- Library News:
- Stop by the 2nd Floor Library at lunch on Friday November 24th to join our very first Board Game Cafe. Students are welcome to stay and play a board game or two. There will be treats!
- Chess Club will take place on Friday this week. We will meet in the 2nd Floor Library at lunch.
