- There is a Girls Rugby practice after school in the gym. All welcome. See Ms. Campbell if you have any questions.
- Girls' Field Hockey tryouts are coming up! Our first two tryouts are Monday February 12th from 5:30pm-7:00pm and Wednesday February 14th from 5:30-7:00pm. Please bring sneakers, shin pads, and a mouth guard. Sticks will be provided. All tryouts are in the gym and no experience is required!
- Academic Awards for 2022-23 students will be Feb 15th 9:20-10:20 in the cafeteria. Students have been sent an invite via their email. If you did not receive an email and you had a 75% plus average, please check the list posted in Guidance. Grade 9 students average is their 4 core subjects (Math, English, Science and Citizenship). If you are not on the posted list and you still believe you should receive an Academic Award email Ms Nickerson and she will check. knickerson@hrce.ca

- The Library Crew will be selling ice cream sandwiches and candy bags for $2.00 each in the cafe at lunch today.
- Lunar New Year is the beginning of the year in the lunar calendar which is a calendar based on the moon’s cycles. The new lunar year and celebrations for it begin on the first new moon of the lunar year and the festivities end on the full moon, lasting around 15 days. Its date on the Gregorian calendar varies because of its dependence on the moon, but it usually falls from January 21 to February 20. Come celebrate Lunar New Year in room 234 at lunch by making red lanterns! That's today at lunch, come to room 234 and make red lanterns for Lunar New year!
