• Any grade 12’s who bring in a prize for this year’s Prom Bingo will be entered into a draw for a free prom ticket!  Donations must be worth $25 or more and can be dropped off at Ms. Butler’s room 319. 

• 1st speaker:  Hey, that’s a big smile you’re wearing.  Isn’t Smile Day cancelled?
2nd speaker:  Well yah, but there’s still something to smile about!
1st speaker:   like what?
2nd speaker: doggies in the library on the lunch hour!!!!!!
1st speaker:  Awesome, this is definitely smile worthy news!  I could use some doggie snuggles today.  Who’s coming?
2nd speaker:  Well there’s Cassie the Nova Scotia Duck Toller, and Watson the St. Bernard….and I hear he’s grown since the last time he was here….big time!!!
1st speaker:  ok Doggies in library on the lunch hour !  I’m smiling already


• Today at lunch the class of 2020 t-shirts will be given to all grade 10 students.

• December Metro bus passes are now available in the main office.

• Interest meeting for Bluenose Ability film festival.  Tuesday, November 28th at lunch in the AV room.

• Drama league meets every Tuesday after school in room 141.

• Judges against hunger is almost here! hopefully you've taken a look at some of the posters around the school and have a basket full of non-perishables to donate to your A block class. pop your food into the box in your classroom and with the power of a giving spirit and with some teamwork from your classmates you could be in for a delicious prizes every week! more information is available on the external affairs Instagram, @externalafairsofficial or from any of the committee members. good luck judges! 

• The Mi’kmaq/Aboriginal student program will be selling items on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the cafeteria.  Come do some Christmas shopping!  All proceeds are going to the Celebratory Feast hosted by the students. 

 

• IMHOTEP's Legacy Academy (pronounced as EEM-HO-TEP) will be arriving every Friday during the lunch hour in Room 304. There will also be a tutor available located at the Pathways Centre after school on Mondays from 3:30pm to 5pm. Imhotep will provide students with tutoring support in both Math and Science as well as Business (eg. Accounting) and Essay writing. For those students in Pathways, you can still sign up with Imhotep for the additional academic support. Scholarship opportunities are available through this program based on regular attendance. This program is a great opportunity and open to all students! *Please feel free to bring your lunch today in Rm 304* Computers are available during this time.
