• Today is Merry Morning Monday! Hopefully you don't fall asleep in class wearing your pajamas! Today’s event is Holiday Kahoot! in room 228 at lunchtime. Test your knowledge on holiday trivia, and win some lindor chocolate!

• Are you a graduating student interested in pursuing a career in a STEM career (Technology, Engineering, Applied scientific research, or Entrepreneurship) than you may qualify for consideration for a Schulich scholarship? If you feel you qualify please see guidance for an application form. Deadline is December 18th.  Deadline for the JL scholarship is fast approaching. All grade 12 students pursuing post-secondary studies should apply. The deadline is also December 18th.

• Mr. Down would like to wish everyone at JL a Happy Precalentines Day - December 14 is the day that all students in his Pre-Calculus class celebrate their love of mathematics and eat chocolate! This holiday has been celebrated at JL Ilsley since 2005! Happy Precalentines Day everyone!

• Tomorrow is Seasonal Socks Tuesday! Break out your wackiest holiday themed socks, add some extra spice and wear some sandals too! There will be a holiday cupcake walk in the gymnasium at lunchtime!
