  • Reminder to the Yearbook committee that there is a meeting today at lunch in room 232.
  • Wear your purple and come cheer on the girls hockey team today at 4 in their game against Auburn!
  • Jam club is this Wednesday after school in the music room.
  • The Girl's JV team lost a tough game last night to Lockview High. The girl's played well and displayed incredible sportsmanship. Player of the Game was Clara Walsh who was tremendous in the first set. Way to go judges. The team is reminded that there is no practice today and that your final game is Wednesday at Eastern Shore.
  • Tomorrow, we will be welcoming George MacDonald in to talk to students about Sheet Metal opportunities and pathways to becoming a sheet metal worker, including direct entry. George is from Spryfield and is a sheet metal worker by trade and is excited to come in to talk to students and staff about this trade as a career. He is also knowledgeable about roofing and other trades and has many contacts that could be helpful to students and staff interested in co-op and other opportunities. Welcome all students who are interested in meeting with him tomorrow, November 16 from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 345.
  • We are seeking cast members, crew members, and musicians for the school musical. If you are interested, there are posters around the school which include a QR code for a Google Form to express your interest or to sign up for an audition time. Auditions will take place after school on Friday, November 18th and Monday, November 21st. You can see Ms. Migneault in the band room if you are unable to access the form via the QR code or for more information.
  • The Legion Poster and Literary Contest is now open. Students are invited to create a poster, essay or poem based on the theme of Remembrance. Winning entries will be awarded a cash prize from the Earl Francis Spryfield Memorial Legion. Please see Mrs. Smith in the Library for more details and an entry form.
  • Welcome all Trivia Fans. Student council is hosting a Trivia Night on Tuesday November 15th from 4 - 5:30 in room 228. There is a $4 entry fee and a chance to win a gift basket worth up to $40. Sign up sheets are posted outside of room 228 and on the main bulletin board outside the gym. You can sign up as a group or individually. The prize will be divided amongst the winners.
