  • The girls volleyball team lost their game on Wednesday night against Lockview. They play against Citadel tonight at 6pm to be seeded for provincials. Go judges!
  • Emergency Students' Council Executive meeting today at lunch in room 228.  This meeting will be a brief 10 minute meeting but is of vital importance and all Exec. members must attend.
  • The Legion Poster and Literary Contest is now open. Students are invited to create a poster, essay or poem based on the theme of Remembrance. Winning entries will be awarded a cash prize from the Earl Francis Spryfield Memorial Legion. Please see Mrs. Smith in the Library for more details and an entry form.
  • Attention JL Students. Are you interested in saving the environment or would like to learn ways on how to be more environmentally sustainable? Then our school's new club, Earth Wise, would be perfect for you! Look out for posters and make sure to scan the QR code before our first meeting at lunch on November 25th in room 118.
  • Today at 1:00pm the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame is excited to have our next Hero Chat with Ben Proudfoot. Ben, a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia recently won an Academy Award for his short film ‘The Queen of Basketball’. The chat will be hosted by Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame CEO Bruce Rainnie and will be about 35 minutes in length. Signing up to view this virtual presentation is completely free.
