  • Today at noon in Room 345, Let’s Talk SOLAR! Learn how YOU can shine in Nova Scotia’s solar industry. Nova Scotia’s growing solar industry has jobs in marketing & promotions, sales, purchasing, client relationship management, contracts, installations, electrical inspections, & more. Hear from Yohan Pieris, Director of Operations & Energy Consultant for Renewly Solar. A resident of the Spryfield/Herring Cove area, Yohan is the youngest and newest member of the board of directors for Solar Nova Scotia, and is a member of the Tribe Network, a community of Black, Indigenous and People of Colour pursuing entrepreneurship and innovation in Canada. Solar companies like Renewly Solar also offer paid internships for students in addition to full-time employment after graduation. Everyone who attends gets a ballot for prizes and snacks provided.
