  • Congratulations to the boy's hockey team for their thrilling win over Halifax West Saturday night. Goal scorers were Zander Poulsen, Chase Williams, David Hubley, and Tanner Ryan.
  • The JV volleyball team is reminded of their change in practice schedule this week. Practices this week are Monday (4-5:30) and Tuesday (6-8).
  • Today, Imhotep's Legacy Academy will resume an in-person tutoring to the students of African Nova Scotian or African descent. Please come to see Mr. Etti at room 317 at 12 - 12:50pm.
  • Jam club is today, tomorrow, and Wednesday after school in the music room.

  • DRIVE INTO YOUR FUTURE. On Tuesday, Nov. 22 at noon in Room 345, let’s learn as you GO in the automotive industry with Glenn Nicholson from Dartmouth Dodge. A JL Ilsley graduate, Glenn is Service Manager at Dartmouth Dodge and has worked in a number of roles in dealerships across the province. Let’s hear how he got his start and how YOU can get your career rolling. Snacks are provided and everyone who attends gets a ballot for prizes.
  • Attention JL Students. Are you interested in saving the environment or would like to learn ways on how to be more environmentally sustainable? Then our school's new club, Earth Wise, would be perfect for you! Look out for posters and make sure to scan the QR code before our first meeting at lunch on November 25th in room 118.
  • Is your name in Powerschool not your preferred or chosen name? If you want to make sure your chosen name is what appears in the Yearbook please fill out the google form that is found on the JL Yearbook Instagram or you can see Mr. Desveaux in room 232.
