  • The girls hockey team tied CPA yesterday. Anna Lyttle scored two goals  and Kaitlyn Dowling & Ashlynn Walsh each had one. Wear purple and come cheer on the Girls Hockey team today in their last regular season home game against Auburn at the Spryfield rink at 4pm!
  • The Youth Health Centre will be open at lunch today.  The Health Action Team will be meeting to work on upcoming campaigns- new students always welcome.
  • There will be a Prom Committee meeting TODAY at lunch in room 341. Prom Committee Members MUST attend or will risk losing their spot. If unable to attend, please send an email to jchart@hrce.ca or come see Mrs. Hart or Ms. Skinner. If you haven't been to a meeting yet, but are interested in taking part, please join us in room 341.
  • Attention grade 12s! The JL Scholarship & Bursary Application form is now available in guidance. Completed applications are due back to guidance by February 2!
  • Are you interested in joining the students' council? Next week we'll be having information sessions at lunch explaining what being a part of the students' council means and what is needed. Finance is meeting Tuesday the 17th at lunch in room 228, Media is meeting Wednesday the 18th in room 228.   Communications are also meeting on Wednesday in room 161. Spirit and events will be Thursday the 19th at lunch room 228 and International cultures Friday the 20th in room 228. If you are a grade 11 looking to take over an executive position next year you must come and join one of these committees.  All grades are welcome,hope to see you there.
  • The Mi'kmaq Native Friendship Centre's Mental Health and  Wellness Program will be hosting a Pow Wow on Saturday, January 28 at the Centre located at 2021 Brunswick Street. Admission is free; there will be food, music, dancing, and vendors; and everyone is welcome to attend. For more information, see Ms. Tish in room 331.
