  • April is Ribbon Skirt Month. Ribbon Skirts are traditional skirts worn my Indigenous people. During the month of April, we are inviting our indigenous Staff and Students to wear a ribbon skirt or shirt every Wednesday for the month of April. Please support our students and wear a ribbon on your shirt.
  • Youth Health Center is open all day today- This coming Thursday JL Ilsley is celebrating nutrition month.  1500 apples will arrive directly from the Annapolis Valley. To show appreciation for locally grown food and the farmers that grow and harvest our local food the Youth Health Centre will host a fun photo shoot. Please join us at lunch on Thursday the 30th.  We hope that students and staff will wear something that depicts farming and join in the fun of “The Big Crunch Campaign.” There will be take home bags filled for students and staff observing Ramadan. Please come and join in for some goofy fun.
