  • First Tryout for JL Lacrosse will be today from 6pm-7:30 in the gym.  All interested players should attend.
  • Are you looking for a part-time gig or summer job? Well get ready for the J.L. Job Fair happening April 5th from 11:00am-3:00pm in the cafeteria. 20+ employers will be present and looking to hire JL students! Start to get your resumes ready! More details to come so keep your ears out for the announcements and your eyes open for posters.
  • Hey Judges, interested in learning the secrets to success at your upcoming job fair? Come out to Room 218 at 12pm today to hear some job fair tips and tricks. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and you’ll also have a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card. For more info on this, see your School Liaison, Elisabeth Angus, in Room 311. Hope to see you there!
  • Tomorrow, March 31st, we will have a meeting at lunch in Mr. Duncan's room, room 230, for all who are interested in participating in the school musical as crew members, tech, set design, and costume design. You are welcome to attend, even if you have not previously responded to our expression of interest survey. Again, we will meet in Mr. Duncan's room, 230, Friday at lunch.
  • April is Ribbon Skirt Month. Ribbon Skirts are traditional skirts worn my Indigenous people. During the month of April, we are inviting our indigenous Staff and Students to wear a ribbon skirt or shirt every Wednesday for the month of April. Please support our students and wear a ribbon on your shirt.
  • The Youth Health Centre is open  all day today. Centre closed for the first part of lunch as we will be helping with “The Big Crunch.” This is a celebration of fresh, locally grown food. There will be free apples and bags to take home as well. Photo shoot with fun Farmer themed props are available- help us celebrate. Volunteers always welcome- just show up and offer.
