- Lights! Camera! Action! The Ilsley Film Club is a free weekly afterschool club led by working professionals from the Nova Scotia Film Industry. We are looking for some ACTORS to play character in a short film that we will be shooting afterschool on Tuesdays! You can check out the Google Classroom or just show up at the meeting next week. - Ramadan Mubarak! Come join us for Iftar tomorrow at night, April 19th from 7:30-9:30pm for food and drinks! Iftar/futoor is a meal held every day of Ramadan at sunset. Join us for futoor catered by Al-Hilal Meat Shop! All those attending must be accompanied by a JL student; prayer spaces will be made available! All Students, staff & their families welcome! - April is Ribbon Skirt Month. Ribbon Skirts are traditional skirts worn my Indigenous people. During the month of April, we are inviting our indigenous Staff and Students to wear a ribbon skirt or shirt every Wednesday for the month of April. Please support our students and wear a ribbon on your shirt.
