  • Youth Health Centre open at Lunch Ms. Gillard will be hosting.
  • Any grade 11 students who would like to be considered for the prestigious Lieutenant Governor Medal should pick up an application in guidance ASAP. Requirements Include:Leadership and Service in school and community; Commendable performance in the courses they are enrolled.
  • For those interested in having a meaningful impact on the school and making next year as great as it can be: Applications for Executive positions on Students' Council are due Friday April 28th.  Other Rep. position applications are due Thursday May 5th.  Applications are available in room 228.
  • Want to win some prizes! Prom committee is hosting a merch bingo April 27th in the cafeteria. Bingo sheets can be bought at the door, $10 for a full game and $5 for a special or regular game. All Proceeds go towards prom. Come out to support your grade 12s!
  • Attention J.L. Ilsley, the Students' Council would like to introduce your student body Co-Presidents for the next school year. Meaghan Williams and Summer Hartlin have been acclaimed for the 2023-24 school year.  Please look to them to voice your concerns and offer suggestions on how to make next year what you want it to be.  Both Meaghan and Summer have committed to leading the council next year; they have big ideas and aspirations for the school and students.  Contratulations to your new co-presidents.
  • The Urban Farm volunteer opportunity for this weekend has been postponed. Check your email for a note from the Rotary Club to see when the event will be re-scheduled for.
  • April is Ribbon Skirt Month. Ribbon Skirts are traditional skirts worn my Indigenous people. During the month of April, we are inviting our indigenous Staff and Students to wear a ribbon skirt or shirt every Wednesday for the month of April. Please support our students and wear a ribbon on your shirt.
